Yemen’s Houthi group on Monday claimed it had targeted Saudi Arabia’s Dammam airport with two drones. According to Reuters, the Iran-aligned group also said it launched drones towards an early-warning radar in Jizan and a military transport aircraft at Jizan airport. Saudi Arabia had not confirmed the claims at the time of the report. The alleged targeting comes days after an attack on Dammam airport killed two people and injured eight others, including an Indian national among the fatalities. The airport reopened the following day, while Riyadh airport remained closed for some time. The report did not provide details of any damage or casualties from the latest claimed drone operation.
