The Central government has taken possession of 39.5 acres of land housing the Indian Air Force (IAF) Sports Complex at Race Course Air Force Station in New Delhi. The land has been formally handed over to the Land and Development Office (L&DO), marking another step in the government's drive to reclaim prime properties near the Prime Minister's residence at Lok Kalyan Marg. The complex includes a golf course, swimming pool and other sports facilities. A joint survey by defence and government officials will verify the land boundaries. However, its future use remains undisclosed. (PC: X)
