Cricket Australia has defended its 2018 investigation into the Sandpapergate scandal after former Australian batter Usman Khawaja claimed the entire team knew about the ball-tampering incident during the South Africa tour. In excerpts from his upcoming autobiography Sabr, Khawaja alleged that discussions about using sandpaper involved players and staff, challenging the official findings that implicated only Steve Smith, David Warner and Cameron Bancroft. He also claimed the practice was discussed during an earlier Test.
