Former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on November 7 accused the BJP of hooliganism following an alleged attack on TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee’s residence in Kolkata’s Kalighat around 2 am. She also alleged that traditional Kali Puja celebrations were disrupted, with permissions for older events revoked while new arrangements blocked access to local festivities. Challenging the BJP over alleged intimidation, Mamata declared that bulldozers would have to run over her body.
