Switzerland's EHL Hospitality Business school in Lausanne closed its campus due to a measles outbreak among students. With six confirmed cases and around 20 others showing symptoms since January, the campus shut its doors until February 19. Students are isolated and receiving medical care. Markus Venzin, head of the EHL Group, emphasized the closure as a preventive measure to limit further spread. The school plans to verify vaccination statuses and advises caution, urging vaccination and reduced social interactions. Measles, highly contagious, spreads through respiratory droplets and presents with fever, cough, runny nose, and rash, preventable by vaccination.
