Delhi's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal emerged victorious in a motion of trust tabled in the Delhi Assembly. Out of 62 AAP MLAs, 54 were present during the voting process. Kejriwal affirmed that no defections occurred, attributing absences to various reasons like incarceration and illness. Accusing the BJP of attempting to destabilize his government, Kejriwal highlighted AAP's resilience. The trust vote coincided with Kejriwal's virtual appearance before the court due to an ED summons. Kejriwal expressed his intent to attend court physically once the assembly sessions conclude.
