The Supreme Court of India has instructed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to vacate its political office in Delhi by June 15, citing the plot's allocation for the expansion of a district court. AAP has been given additional time due to the impending Lok Sabha elections. Additionally, the court has directed AAP to seek land allotment from the Land and Development Office within four weeks. AAP argued its office's legality, citing prior allocation and its status as one of India's six national parties. Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud granted AAP the extension to facilitate district judiciary expansion.
