At Villacoublay military base, a coordination center will unite police, gendarmerie, and army to counter drone threats. General Arnaud Bourguignon emphasizes the versatility of drones for protests or terrorism. Officers will monitor air traffic, identifying and neutralizing drones using heavy anti-drone units equipped with radar, cameras, and jamming antennas. Anti-drone rifles will also be deployed. With 15 units ready, security aims to ensure safety without disrupting legitimate drone use during the Games.
