West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee sustained a severe head injury after allegedly being pushed at her home, according to SSKM Hospital Director Monimoy Bandyopadhyay. Banerjee's sister-in-law, Kajori Banerjee, reiterated the claim, stating someone pushed her from behind. Banerjee was admitted with a cerebral concussion and received stitches for cuts on her forehead and nose. Medical tests including a CT scan were conducted. The incident occurred around 7:30 pm, and Banerjee's condition is stable. The matter raises concerns about the safety of political leaders.
