Arvind Kejriwal Remanded to ED Custody With Allegations of Bribery and Money Laundering

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was remanded to Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody until March 28, accused of being the "kingpin" in bribery and money laundering related to the 2021-22 Delhi excise policy. The ED labeled Kejriwal the "key conspirator," alleging he favored certain individuals in the policy and demanded kickbacks from liquor businessmen. The agency claimed AAP, under Kejriwal's leadership, benefited from the illegal funds during election campaigns. Kejriwal's defense denied direct evidence and questioned the credibility of statements from accused turned approvers.
