Currently, abnormal temperatures prevail in northwestern regions due to Western disturbances. Despite brief relief from light rain, heatwave conditions are forecasted to persist in Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh. The nation braces for an intense summer, with measures urged to mitigate heat-related risks.
