Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy was injured by stone throwing during a roadshow in Vijayawada. He sustained a minor cut above his left eye, while MLA Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao also got injured. Reddy received treatment and resumed his 'Memantha Siddham Bus Yatra'. The incident occurred at Vivekananda School Centre, with YSRCP alleging involvement of Telugu Desam Party workers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished him a speedy recovery.
