Zee has witnessed several lay offs and high-ranking departures in recent weeks, including Rahul Johri, who served as the President of Business, and Nitin Mittal, the President and Group Chief Technology Officer. According to market experts, Punit Mishra's failure to resurrect Zee5 in the international market has led the way to his resignation.
