Supreme Court Questions ED, Why Arrest Arvind Kejriwal Before Polls?

The Supreme Court seeks answers from the Enforcement Directorate regarding the timing of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's arrest just before the general elections. Kejriwal challenges his arrest in the Delhi liquor policy case, citing lack of evidence implicating him directly. Senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi argues no trace of proceeds of crime. The ED is instructed to respond by May 3, with the next hearing scheduled then. Kejriwal, arrested on March 21 in a money laundering case, remains in judicial custody till May 7. The Delhi High Court previously found his arrest lawful on April 9.
