Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has been granted interim bail till June 1 by the Supreme Court in a money laundering case linked to Delhi's defunct liquor policy. He's to surrender by June 2. This decision allows him to campaign in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections in Delhi and Punjab, where AAP holds sway. The bench, led by Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Datta, declined a plea for bail extension beyond June 1. Kejriwal, arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on March 21, has been in Tihar Jail since. Polling is slated for May 25 in Delhi and June 1 in Punjab.
