Phase 4 of Lok Sabha Voting Underway, Trinamool Worker Killed in Bengal

In the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections, 96 seats across 10 states and Union Territories are being contested. West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh are key battlegrounds, featuring prominent candidates. However, violence struck at Bolpur, West Bengal, where a Trinamool Congress worker was killed in a crude bomb attack. Early turnout stood at 10.35%, with West Bengal leading at 15.24% and Jammu and Kashmir at the bottom with 5.07%. Meanwhile, voting is ongoing for 175 Assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh and 28 legislative assembly seats in Odisha. With three phases completed in 283 Lok Sabha constituencies, vote counting is scheduled for June 4th.
