TMC to Skip INDIA Bloc Meeting Due to West Bengal Elections

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) will not attend the INDIA bloc meeting on June 1, citing crucial state elections and cyclone relief efforts. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee stated that her priority is managing cyclone relief and overseeing elections in nine key constituencies, including Kolkata. The INDIA bloc, a coalition of opposition parties, is set to discuss future strategies ahead of the June 4 election results. The TMC is not in alliance with the INDIA bloc in West Bengal. Other states, including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Punjab, also have elections on June 1.
