Atishi Summoned in Defamation Case; Arvind Kejriwal Alleges 'Plan to Arrest' AAP Leaders

A Delhi court has summoned Delhi's AAP leader Atishi in a defamation case filed by Delhi BJP's media head. Atishi alleged BJP's attempt to bribe and poach AAP legislators. She's asked to appear on June 29. Meanwhile, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, also named, wasn't summoned. Kejriwal claimed the move is part of a plan to arrest AAP leaders, citing "flimsy, frivolous, and false cases." The case stems from allegations by Atishi and Kejriwal that BJP offered money to AAP MLAs to switch sides. BJP's defamation suit demanded withdrawal of Atishi's remarks and a TV apology.
