Suspended JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna was arrested at Bengaluru airport after returning from Germany, following accusations of mass sexual assault. Revanna, the NDA candidate for the Hassan Lok Sabha seat, had left for Germany on April 27 after videos allegedly showing him sexually assaulting women surfaced. An SIT took him into custody for questioning, and his mobile phone and luggage were seized. Revanna will undergo a medical examination before being presented to magistrate. His anticipatory bail plea, claiming the allegations were politically motivated and evidence fabricated, is set to be heard in a Bengaluru court.
