His return follows pressure from his grandfather, former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, who urged him to face the investigation.              

Delhi's Tis Hazari Court has remanded Bibhav Kumar, an aide to Arvind Kejriwal, to three days of police custody in the Swati Maliwal alleged assault case. The court's decision follows the Delhi Police's request for five days of custody. Kumar's counsel opposed the plea, citing lack of evidence. The case stems from an FIR filed by Maliwal, accusing Kumar of assaulting her at Kejriwal's residence on May 13.
